This Sanur Villa, recently rated as 4-5 star quality accommodation by recent guests, is owned by Allan & Liene Prince from Cairns in Australia & has been furnished & decorated to the highest degree to ensure you & your family or couples enjoy the very best vacation home. As previous Managers of the Resort we are very much aware of guests expectations, & we know you will not be dissapointed. Our background has been the Management of small & large Resorts for several years throughout North Queensland Australia, & we have appointed and trained a wonderful local Balinese family to look after all your needs during your stay. You will receive 5 star personal treatment at very affordable rates. We have even engaged a private housekeeper Ani , who will look after the cleaning of the villa every day you are there.

Zen Villa offers you a personalised transport service with Agusto Suardana who will collect you from the airport and greet you with cold face towels and chilled safe drinking water. This service is complimentary. He is also available to transport you anywhere in Bali at your time of choice. Simply pay Agusto direct for any non complimentary transport service. BALI WEDDINGS: Zen Villa is the ideal romantic Holiday Villa for your wedding with the spacious grounds, privacy & beautiful Balé Bengong as your background. We have 400m2 of tropically landscaped gardens with Bali stone statues in each corner of the property, plus of course your very own private plunge pool. The grounds, villa & pool are all serviced daily.

BALI HONEYMOONS: Zen Villa is the perfect romantic holiday villa choice for honeymooners with privacy & no pedestrian traffic passing your villa. Liene & I chose this position for construction because it would be the most private of vacation villas being positioned at the end of the garden pathway.

ZEN VILLA BEDROOMS. Your Vacation Villa accommodation provides two spacious bedrooms with king beds & two Ensuites. In addition we have recently purchased 2 Rollaway beds for your children, plus a baby cot and high chair. The Main Bedroom has a large bath, plus walk in glass surround shower. This first bedroom leads via sliding doors direct to the deep plunge pool perfect for cooling off with a refreshing drink. We have provided a second flat screen TV plus DVD Player here, also with over 60 cable channels, the same as received in the living area with the large flat screen TV.

ZEN VILLA ENSUITES. Each Bedroom has its own ensuite, with the master ensuite providing a granite topped vanity, large walk in shower with heavy glass surrounds and door, plus extra large bath. The second ensuite also has matching granite tops plus glass enclosed shower.

VILLA POOL: Your very own private plunge pool is serviced daily & you will be met with a beaming smile when the Pool Service man Anggu practices his language skills on you.

VILLA COOKING FACILITIES:The spacious family sized kitchen is fitted with high quality granite tops & provides everything you could want, plus loads of cupboard space. This area is a Gourmet Chef's delight, & includes a large double door Samsung Refrigerator with side by side fridge and freezer ideal for a long stay or for the family group. A Bench top water dispenser supplies chilled Government controlled drinking water, & in addition we supply a Microwave Oven, coffee plunger, large electric frypan, wok, roasting s/steel dishes, plus numerous pots & pans. The full gas oven features a glass top with 5 gas burners & large oven underneath. Perfect for that roast dish or baking. A full range of quality glassware is supplied including spirit, wine & champagne glasses. All cutlery & crockery of a high standard is also supplied.There is an excellent Butcher shop ( Australian Proprietor ) with imported meats from Australia & New Zealand located next door to "The Cricket Club". Also a great place to shop for Gourmet food is an outlet called " The Garage. " This Delicatessan supplies major luxury hotels and leading Restaurants. Locally in Sanur there is a very good Expatriats shop for Delicatessan items known as "The Pantry," located diagonally opposite Hardys Supermarket in the main street. Just ask Agusto about each of these outlets.

FAMILY FRIENDLY VILLA: The Villa is equipped with 2 king beds, plus 2 foldaway beds, a baby cot & baby highchair. All linen is supplied including beach towels, plus shampoos, conditioner and lotion.

VILLA SIZE: The Villa size is open plan of 120m2 located on approximately 400m2 of beautiful tropically landscaped gardens & large Balé Bengong ( with overhead fan ) just perfect for relaxing with a book, a siesta, or especially your complimentary one hour massage. The Villa is fully tiled with high ceilings & fans throughout, with full air conditioning. This villa is ideal for family accommodation or couples.

At the rear of the Villa we have a number of fruit trees including bananas. Please feel free to help yourself to whatever is ripe & ready for eating.

ZEN GARDENERS: You will see the four Gardeners working hard every day, & although they do not speak English quite so well, they love to hear compliments on the presentation of the beautiful grounds. Then you will experience the world famous Balinese smiles.

VILLA COMFORT: Split system Air conditioning is fitted throughout, plus several overhead cooling fans for your comfort, including the outside dining terrace.

VILLA ELECTRICITY : Electricity supply in Bali can sometimes be unreliable. With Zen Villa you can be assured of uninterrupted electricity supply as we have a Genset supplying sufficient power in case of loss of main power supply, to continue to operate lighting, fans, refrigerator, and water supply for showers and toilets. Cooking is not a problem as the large oven and multi burner cook top are powereed by gas.

BALI TELEVISION:Cable TV with over 60 Channels is provided in the living area & main bedroom with a large flat screen LCD TV in the living area, & second TV in the main bedroom. Two DVD/CD players are also provided plus a stereo system. The Cable service provides mainly English speaking Channels such as ABC, CNN, Bloomberg, USA Stock Market Channels, Movie Channels, Sports Channels & childrens entertainment.

VILLA INTERNET. We have complimentary Wi-Fi connection in the villa for your convenience. Agusto has the user name & password & will help you set up as soon as you arrive. For the business minded parties we also provide in the Villa a printer/scanner/copier complimentary. I am afraid we cannot vouch for the speed of the WiFi connection which varies gteatly all over Bali.

BALI AIRPORT TRANSFERS: Airport transfers ( one collection & one delivery ) are included in the cost of your stay, & Agusto our driver is available for additional day tours & night time transport ( charges apply for non complimentary transport services).

To enter Bali your passport must be valid for a minimum of six months from your date of arrival. Travellers holding passports from some countries (including Australia and New Zealand) may be granted a 30 day visa on arrival for a fee of USD$25 with an extension now available for an additional 30 days at a cost of an additional US$25. Payment must be made in USD on arrival. Visas are non-extendable and non-transferable. The period of stay for visas is calculated from the day of arrival. Fines are imposed for each additional day in Indonesia.

On leaving, travellers will need to pay a Departure Tax. Currently the tax is Rupiah 150,000. Please note that variations can occur with little or no notice. PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE THIS MONEY ON HAND BEFORE YOU GET TO THE IMMIGRATION COUNTER.

FOOD & DRINKS FOR VILLA B If your flight arrival is in the evening, and you like the idea of a cool beer or soft drink in the fridge waiting for you at the Villa, Agusto can arrange the purchase of provisions & have these waiting for you. Then it is simply a matter of hopping into the plunge pool with the drink of your choice as soon as you arrive. Simply email us a list of what you would like & we will arrange all of this for you at cost only.

VILLA COOK. If the idea of having a cook come to the villa to prepare breakfast for you is appealing, Ayu ( Agusto's Sister ) is our breakfast cook, & she will prepare in your villa, an American cooked breakfast of Fruit Juice, fresh fruits, Bacon, Eggs, Sausages, Hash Browns, Fried Tomatoes, Eggs cooked to your choice, Toast, Tea/Coffee & Jam condiments ( even Vegemite ). Charges apply. A Continental breakfast is also available ( charges apply ).

BALI BIKING: Two as new bikes are complimentary with your stay, & Agusto can hire you more bikes if required. There is a 7km safe riding track ( No Cars ) which starts at the top end of Sanur & continues right along the beach area. Flat, safe, friendly & fun for all. There are loads of shopping Warungs along the beach which are often cheaper than the central area shops.

VILLA DAILY HOUSEKEEPING: Your Villa is serviced daily by Ani and she is your dedicated housekeeper solely for your booking party.

SHOPPING: Hardys Supermarket in Sanur is available by foot from the villa ( 10 minute walk ) or by bike ( 4-5 minutes ). Here you can purchase what you would normally buy back home, plus wines, beers & spirits. A Chemist ( Pharmacy ) is located next door to Hardys Supermarket, & Money Changers are available at the right hand side of the entry to Hardys Supermarket & also directly opposite Hardys on the other side of the road to the left. Alternatively, have Agusto take you to Carrefour near Kuta ( 15 minutes away ). Here the selection is enormous for vegetables, fruit, meat, fresh baked breads, liquor etc etc.
A few metres from the entrance to Zen, there are 2 Warungs ( Food stalls ) where you can buy fresh eggs & fruit & vegetables.

BARTERING IN BALI: Bartering is expected in all transactions except where it is clearly sign posted that fixed prices apply. Do not feel embarrased about bartering, as it is expected by retailers, and is a way of life in Bali. Our recommendation is to offer half the asking price and end up after friendly banter at two thirds the asking price. A handy little tip is to learn the phrase "Sungut Mahal" ( Too expensive ). This is often met with howls of laughter at your ability to tell them in their own language that this price is too much. A lovely way to finish after you have struck the deal and the laughter has subsided, is to also say to the retailer " Terimakasih Banyak "

( Thank You Very Much ). In return they will say to you "Sama Sama" ( You are welcome ).

SANUR AREA: Sanur is quite unlike Kuta in that it is a far more relaxed area with no street hawkers. Shopping is almost endless & the beautiful beach area with numerous Restaurants is only a few metres away from the Main street of Sanur.
The Beach area is approximately a 10 minute walk away, ( 4-5 minutes by bike ) as are the numerous Restaurants & shops of Sanur.
